The Ohio State University
Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender Alumni Society
The Ohio State University Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender (GLBT) Alumni Society promotes the best interests of the gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender alumni and students of The Ohio State University. The Society sponsors a scholarship program, social events for students and alumni and collaborates with community organizations regularly to promote awareness and education of GLBT issues.
Become a Member Today!
The annual membership drive for the OSU GLBT Alumni Society is currently under way. Members of the Society are committed to making Ohio State a better place for GLBT students. Members have opportunities to network with other alumni, give back to their alma mater, and improve the climate for the next generation of GLBT students. Members have a voice at OSU and are advocates of GLBT issues. Added benefits include the ability to purchase home football tickets, participate in member-only tailgates, and travel to OSU Football away games. Other member events include adoption information panels, arts and cultural events, and more. As always, students currently enrolled may join for free.
Homecoming Reunion Tailgate
The 2013 GLBT Alumni Society Reunion-Homecoming Tailgate on-line reservation is now closed. However, it is not too late to join us! This year, we have joined 3 other alumni societies and The Ohio State University Alumni Association for the 2013 Reunion-Homecoming Buckeye Bash at the Ohio Union’s Archie Griffin Ballroom East from 12:30 – 3:00 PM. The bash will include typical tailgate food, soft drinks, dessert and an open bar for beer and wine with the purchase of an alcohol wristband. Special appearance from the OSU Cheerleaders and Brutus, remarks from Archie Griffin and a performance from the Capital Pride Band. There will be a face tattoo station and other fun activities at the Bash. To order a Buckeye Bash Ticket and Alcohol Wristband, call the OSU Alumni Association at 614-292-2281 or 1-800-762-5646 before Friday, October 11. A limited number of football tickets are available as well, but you must be a sustaining or life member of the Association. When you call, please identify yourself with the GLBT Society. There will be reserved tables at the tailgate for each of the four societies.
If you have any additional questions, please Garett Heysel (firstname.lastname@example.org) or 614 292-5130.
